Available when you book directly with AVI Airways only (your ticket number starts with VL). In Economy, pets must sit in their carrier at all times, either under your seat or on an adjacent seat. In Business, pets must sit in their carrier on an adjacent seat. They will not be permitted under your seat. Carriers must not exceed 40 x 40 x 22cm (L x W x H) to fit under the seat in front of you, or 50 x 43 x 50cm (L x W x H) if you have purchased an adjacent seat. If your carrier is larger than the under the seat policy, you can purchase the adjacent seat for pets up to 50 x 43 x 50cm (L x W x H) and a maximum weight of 12kg carte included. Additional seats must be purchased in advance. If you’re travelling on a return flight but your pet is only travelling one way in an adjacent seat, make two separate bookings for each leg of your trip. Your cat or dog must be at least 16 weeks old and weigh no more than 8kg including their carrier. You must be at least 18 years old to travel with a pet. These conditions must be met for the pet to travel in the hold: The pet must travel in a rigid carrier The body of the carrier must be made from fiberglass or hard plastic only If the carrier has wheels, these must be removed. If they are retractable, they must be locked with adhesive tape CAGES for transporting DOGS must: have a metal door with a locking system that locks the closure points at the top, middle and bottom of the door The side air inlets of CAGES for transporting DOGS must be made of metal, not plastic The dimensions of the CAGE may vary based on the type of aircraft being used for the journey. If for any reason your pet cannot travel with you in the cabin or hold, you can transport it as cargo... If it weighs more than the permitted 45 kg (total weight of the animal plus carrier). If there are legal entry restrictions for animals in the destination country or if they are only accepted as cargo. If your dog/cat's breed has transport restrictions (breeds considered dangerous or brachycephalic dogs and cats). If the animal does not belong to any of the species we accept.
